Welcome to our Before and After page. Here you’ll find
just a few examples of the work we do. To search tools by category, click the tabs on the left side of the page. We've provided as much information as possible about each item. However, in some cases we returned the tool to the owner after we restored it and it is no longer in our possession. For that reason, you'll occasionally see "no information available" beside an item.
The final
product varies with each individual tool depending on the condition it was in when we got it. Some
damage, such as pitting, is irreparable. Pitting occurs when rust is so
severe that pits form in the metal. In those cases, we do our best to
remove the rust and preserve the metal to prevent future rust. If you're looking for an easy and effective way to remove rust on your own, consider electrolysis. It's nonabrasive and doesn't remove any base metal.
